Background of the Annual Elections
The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Youth Secretariat holds annual elections for the terms of Regional and National Youth Leader. The term for Regional Youth Leader are 1 yr commitments and for National Youth Leader it is a 3yr commitment. The leaders are chosen by youth who gather at the Regional conference to address issues pertaining to First Nations youth in Manitoba.
